Boston Toastmasters Vice President of Public Relations - Ashley Collins

Ashley Collins

[wpcol_2third_end id=”” class=”” style=””]Ashley Collins – Vice President of Public Relations
As many of her fellow toastmasters can relate to, Ashley joined Boston Toastmasters to overcome her fear of public speaking. While she’s always been a very social person, the act of standing in front of a group terrified her. Boston Toastmasters provided an environment where she could be comfortable and find her voice in front of an audience. She is eager to help support and encourage the club, as she was able to (and continues) to grow and develop with the aid of this remarkable organization. As the Vice President of Public Relations, she would like to spread the word about this club, improve the access and provide additional resources for members, and see more members earn their Competent Leader award. Boston Toastmasters Secretary - Edward Kelleher

Edward Kelleher

[wpcol_2third_end id=”” class=”” style=””]Edward Kelleher – Secretary

Ed is Boston Toastmasters’ former President, former VP of Education, current raconteur and general adviser. He has graciously accepted the role of Secretary this year. He did not write this biography. Anyone who knows Ed would know that he is not the sort of person to refer to himself as ‘gracious’ or otherwise toot his own horn.

Kiera was the 2012-2013 Boston Toastmasters President. When she joined Boston Toastmasters, to foster her skill and confidence in her public speaking abilities, she never expected to be president. She found this experience immensely rewarding. It has always been her dream to speak before and motivate others. Boston Toastmasters allows her a great opportunity to hone her craft in front of an audience while at the same time helping other members to develop as better public speakers. She loves inspiring people to find the confidence and comfort needed to speak in front of an audience. Read more
