Anne joined Boston Toastmasters to overcome her fear of public speaking. Shortly thereafter, she ran for the position of secretary as a commitment to improve her leadership skills within the organization. She also wants to help new members with their concerns regarding public speaking.
Anne began her career in the insurance industry then pursued a law degree. She practices law full time as an insurance defense attorney, specializing in workers’ compensation. Anne has developed her skills as a negotiator and now plans to improve her public speaking skills to continue to succeed in her career.
Anne has balanced her career and family life for years. She is a mother of two teenagers and devotes her time to her family. She also loves to travel, read, spend time at the beach and boating. She spends hours at sporting events watching her children compete in various sports.
Anne has decided that Toastmasters is the answer to help her become an accomplished public speaker and hopes to share that success with others.
