Boston’s Toastmasters allows her a great opportunity to hone her craft in front of an audience while at the same time help other members develop as better public speakers. Although he is a Southern transplant to New England, Jesse spent much of his adult life living in Europe and Asia. In fact, it was in Japan that he first learned about Toastmasters International. He speaks French and Japanese (sometimes intermingled, unfortunately), and has started learning Portuguese and Mandarin. He loves the outdoors, and is excited to be in yet another place where he can indulge in his favorite sports: hiking, skiing, and snowboarding. Read more

Marco Cortez joined Boston Toastmasters, like many others, to improve his public speaking skills. Anne joined Boston Toastmasters to overcome her fear of public speaking. Shortly thereafter, she ran for the position of secretary as a commitment to improve her leadership skills within the organization. She also wants to help new members with their concerns regarding public speaking. Read more
